We are a small family business, specialising in plastic laser engraving, based in the heart of England. Our company produces custom-made labels, name tags, plaques, signs, valve tags and identification discs for many different applications.
Our Services
Disc Tags
We can produce disc tags in a range of sizes and colours. Disc tags are commonly used to identify valves, keys and table numbers. We offer customised engraving on these discs. This is our most popular product.
Signs & House Names
Small, hardwearing signs can be produced up to a maximum of 600x400mm. These can include your logo or chosen graphic. Mounting hardware and acrylic backing plate options are available.
Labels, Name Tags & Identification Plaques
Labels of a range of sizes, colours and shapes can be manufactured for many different industries including heating, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, automotive, solar, air conditioning, transport, health, IT, education and many more. Screw holes or adhesive tape mounting options are available.
Installation or Instruction Signs
Proudly advertise the quality of your installation by attaching a customised traffolyte sign with your company contact details and logo. Alternatively, these signs can display operating instructions for equipment with optional graphics such as switch positions.
Precision Laser Engraving
Our traffolyte products are laser engraved rather than printed making them hard wearing and exceptionally precise, ideal for volume production. We use high quality engraving laminate manufactured in the USA and most colours are UV stabilised for outdoor applications.
Mounting Options
We supply various mounting options for our traffolyte products including chain for valve tags, screws, adhesive tape backing, sign standoffs and acrylic plastic for strengthening or protection of the engraving laminate.
LED Backlit Signs
We are currently developing a customisable, low energy LED backlit sign as an eye-catching product to advertise your organisation.
This modern indoor sign will typically be installed on the wall behind the reception desk for the perfect first impression.
The backlight brightness can be adjusted to suit your environment and the whole backlight panel is replaceable, even when the sign is mounted to the wall.
Coloured text and logos can feature on the design, depending on material availability and design complexity.

Hello, welcome to The laser Sign Company, my name is Anne and I am here to manage the design and production of your small plastic signs.
I have worked for over twelve years in the engraving industry and I am a former employee of a reputable engraving company in the Midlands. I have extensive experience of working with the electrical, heating, maintenance, education and construction industries; supplying various companies across the United Kingdom.
At The Laser Sign Company, we use advanced computer aided design software and precision laser engraving machines to manufacture products to your exact specification, in the shortest possible timeframe. In fact, the vast majority of orders go into production on the same or the next working day!
As a small family business, we are fortunate enough not to have the overheads of a large facility so we can pass on our savings directly to you. We are confident we offer some of the lowest prices in our industry. We have a small base of repeat customers, which we value greatly and do our upmost to serve. The Laser Sign Company was born out of the Covid pandemic, during a downturn in production at the engraving company where I was employed. I co-founded the company with my husband Mick, who had an extensive background working in engineering throughout his career.
Mick sadly passed away unexpectedly in June 2023 from Acute Pancreatitis and he is sorely missed. He was a much loved member of our family, who played a integral role in the day-to-day operations of The Laser Sign Company.
Any future fundraising will be in honour of Mick to raise money for Guts UK. This is one of the only charities in the UK that fund life-changing and life-saving research into illnesses of the digestive system to improve future care. From April 2025, The Laser Sign Company will be donating 10% of all annual profits to Guts UK to support this vital work.
